TV Licence - Pay Up Again

<p>It is a concern that I write these complaints as one would expect that the SABC admin department should be accurate in handling their administration. 1st Complaint: I received a final notice to pay on 06/10/2016 to pay my TV lic by the 09/10. I then complained as i had to pay penalties as no previous reminder was received. I made payment on 16/10/2016 for the full amount of R318. Another reminder was received on the 25/10 for R318 to be paid by the 30/10. Knowing that this has been paid, I ignored the mail. i also ignored the mail received demanding R424 in 02/2017.</p> <p>This weekend i am told by Hirsch Electrical that SABC now requires me to pa R424 for a licence which has already been paid.</p> <p>Refer to emails & receipts attached. In such areas, one would expect that competent people be employed and not people who cant read or calculate. Why do i have to pay R424 for a licence which is up-to-date? Does the admin staff need assistance in paying their licence or what?</p>
