I pur hased a 49 inch LG TV to play PlayStation and play rented movies for the kids. I never plugged the tv once into the aerial yet SABC expects us to pay for their ******* on TV thats in languages I cant even understand. But thats not my point now. After a year of having the TV I sold it to pay for a deposit for a new flat. I contacted SABC to cancel the license but they wouldn't help me. So who then? Is it not an SABC licence? Now I have a company called NUdebt harassing me EVERYDAY on behalf of the SABC. Now all of a sudden a 1 year subscription costs me R450? SABC is nothing but *****s looking to take advantage of people. I refuse to pay R450 for 1 year. Forget it. You can phone everyday. You can charge me for the next 20 years. I will not pay more than 1 year subscription. SABC meet me half way or we don't meet at all.
