Suspected SMS **** to pay TV licence

Over the past three months or so I have received in excess of ten SMS's from a source purporting to be the SABC TV licencing Department to pay an overdue TV licence in the name of my wife via their website [URL Removed] or to dial *120*3696# - Sender: +***. That the website name does not reflect \SABC\" in its title is a very worrying sign that this is a probable **** and I have thus avoided making any contact with the quoted number. I have emailed both the SABC TV Licencing and Complaints Departments from addresses obtained from their official website [URL Removed] to report these suspicious SMS messages and the fact that my TV licence is paid to date albeit in my name and not my wife's, whom should not be billed in any event. After some NINE emails I sent, to which an automated acknowledgement was received each time, they just do not bother responding. Is this a ****? "
