Struggling to get TV licence cancelled

In May this year (2015) we emigrated to Australia. During the month of March, we started the process of trying to cancel our TV licence with the SABC. We have sent them a sworn affidavit stating that we have shipped the TV sets out of the country and no longer reside in SA, we have sent them witnessed copies of ID (commissioner of oaths), sent a copy of our visa, sent an inventory list from the removal company that shipped our goods to Australia and sent customs certificates for the goods arriving in Australia. We have phoned the SABC on numerous occasions and have e-mailed the documents several times and yet the licence is still not cancelled. According to two people we have spoken to, they can see that all the documents are in their system, but their cancellation department has not updated/cancelled our licence. When speaking to various people at the SABC, one gets conflicting requests for documentation. One person will tell you that the documents we have submitted are sufficient, whilst another person will tell you a whole different set of documents must be submitted, there is no consistency.<br> It would seem that the only route now, is the legal route!
