I struggled to cancel my mothers tv licence years ago, reported it on hello peter and never heard from them again. Untill i cancelled mine!!! I cancelled mine as I was not working at the time and even closed my bank account as it costs money, take note, not working. Didn't work for 4years. Finally started working again and all of a sudden get phonecalls from lawyer's stating that i must pay my overdue tv licence account. The fees then was like R231 for the year,R21/m. Tell them the same story every time i cancelled my account didn't work for 4years. Now i get sms's: FINAL NOTICE MRS POSTHUMUS, your TVLic Acc ********* is incurring 10% penalties per month on overdue fees. R2588.50. CLICK www.tvlic.co.za to pay HC *** W H A T!!!! For a R231/y, R21/m acc which was cancelled years ago Oh and don't forget my credit record that this will reflect on.... SERIOUSLY
