Shame on you SABC

I normally pay my TV Licence in full in October every year. I received my reminder in September 2022, but completely forgot to pay it. I paid R270.00 at the beginning of January 2023. (R5 more than the cost). A few days later I received a thank you SMS and message to say that I still had R74 outstanding. I duly paid R75.00 and again received a thank you. I can only assume that the additional amount was for accrued interest for paying three months late. What I cannot understand is that there are millions of people who do not pay their license and nothing is done about them. Yet I, a loyal customer is charged 28% interest for paying three months late. The SABC should get their priorities straight and stop punishing the honest people and the sinners are left Scot free!!!! That is pathetic.
