SABS TV license penalty system

During this time, where we facing a pandemic in South Africa, I have noticed that SABC TV license is penalising people who do not pay the TV license and amount of about R26,50 per month. Now I know that the management of SABC is going to use this wonderful motivation on why they doing this, and elaborate on the needs of SABC and also discuss the service they deliver to the SA community, but in reality this is uncalled for. As the official broadcaster of SA, they can think that many people, who received a grant from the government of R350,00 per month, needs to pay R26,50 of that money as penalty and still needs to pay the TV license. I think that SABC needs to cancel this penalty system, and focus on ways to assist the user, the people, who needs the money more than this outrageous decision to implement penalties. Please s**** this penalty system.
