SABC working on old analog technology

All these years I’ve been paying tv license to SABC but this view is via my DStv dish and I pay for DStv. SABC is still running the old analog viewing technology and I 100% sure not one South African is viewing TV way. We have moved into the digital side of viewing so why are we still subjected and forced into paying for TV license.
