SABC TV LICENSE IS A ****

Big Time ****.

I registered my TV license at PnP Eersteriver in reer to purchase a new TV set. At the end of the day this was never possible as the license was registered incorrectly. PnP "fixed' it same day yet the same issue remained.

I then contacted the SABC for assistance to cancel this TV license and refund fees paid which I was still eligible to according to their policy. After numerous emails and telephone calls nobody every assisted herein. I laid a complaint with ICASA and they responded months later requesting my documents for the refund. Same was sent to them twice and still nothing is happening.

I currently received a trace alert for TV license fees outstanding for a TV I don't even have. Ans now staying they cannot refund my money unless I settle the outstanding fees. Fees I owe for what?

You paying SABC for TV channels you no longer watch and a TV you don't even have.

Such a shame.

Who is in charge of this nonsense. Please bring your organisation to order.
