SABC TV License charging double the annual fee.

I just received an SMS from VVM stating that my TV License account was handed over to them for payment.I always pay annually.I am charged an enormous interest, as the fee when I just called the SABC is R265.00 annually and I am charged R503.50, interest of R238.50, which they saying I am having (2) two holiday home and i don't even own a property, since Jan to Mid March - interest. I am honestly not satisfied with the service, not sending a statements , sms, email or any type of notification is ridiculous to expect a consumer to pay double the fee, which is interest of 2 and half months . I would really like to know, how the interest was calculated to get to R238.50 in 2 and a half months and why no communication in any form was sent out to paying customers, accept for a VVM that can get hold of you. This is really frustrating.
