SABC TV Licence cancelled but still receiving bills!

HI

I sold my TV about 13 years ago and have never bought another. About 4 or 5 years ago I received a phone call from the SABC saying my account is overdue. I accepted it because I never canceled my TV licence. I requested from the caller to please cancel my TV licence because I sold my TV. He assured me that it has been cancelled but will only take effect as soon as I paid my balance, I immediately paid this overdue balance and was relieved that this was done!

Today I just received an email with an overdue amount again!!. It looks like it dates back to the time it "supposed" to have been canceled. I'm so disappointed at this Service from the SABC TV licence.

What now???
