SABC TV licence cancellation impossible!!!!

SABC TV licenses is making it so difficult for me to cancel my tv liscence with them.<br> I am no longer in possession of a tv as i have given it away. They now want me to give them details of the person i have given it to.<br> I am no longer in contact with the party involved and now they confirmed to me that if i cant supply them with a substitute, i will have to my a tv licence for a tv i do not have for the rest of my life. <br> This is unfair, the first call i made i was requested to submit an afidavid stating that i no longer have a tv. Which i have done, taking time out of my day to go to the police station. i submitted the document and have had no correspondence from them for weeks. I called in and asked if they recieved the doc, they informed me that it is not acceptable to say you no longer have a tv, you have to give the persons details who now has the TV. <br> I dont have a TV, why should i pay for it just because i cant supply the persons details. IT should not be my responsibility to do SABC's job and check up on whether that person has a licence. They should do their checks.<br> <br> SABC, ive done what you asked mostly, please cancel my liscence
