SABC T.V LICENCES harrasment to my Mother
<p>I am writing this on behalf of my Mother who is a pensioner of 77years. She has been inundated with Messgases and late night phone calls from this T.V Licence Department threatening her that she will face Court Charges for her accont that is in arrears, when in actual fact she is not in arrears with her account. I have a letter from the SABC STATING VALIDATION FROM JAN 2016-DEC2016 AND ALSO A PAID RECEIPT , it is exactly in Decemeber that she pays for the year that follows. My utmost concern here is the manner in which they have harrassed her for something that she does not have to pay now, bt has to pay at the end of the year as her account is up to date. She is old and now they(SABC) HAS HER STRESSED, her BLOOD PRESSURE HIGH, And she cant Sleep because of this, It is actually starting to aggravate me as I hate to see my Mom this way.</p>

The balance on the TV licence of Mrs. Van Wyk has been adjusted and the messages requesting payment has been ceased with immediate effect.
Confirmation of a paid-up TV licence has been posted to the licence holder today.
