SABC refuses to cancel my tv licence
I e-maile SABC tv licence and I phoned them two years ago to cancel my tv licence. My tv broke and I could not afford a new one. At this point my tv licence was fully paid even though my tv was not working for a year.<br> <br> I lost interest in TV and I spent a lot of time travelling to training in a different province. To this day, SABC has not cancelled my tv licence. They are now sending me threatening e-mails and sms to take action against me. I also received a debt collector letter.<br> <br> In 2013 at about the same time, I cancelled my landline and my internet service provider over the Telephone and they sorted it out immediately. However, this situation with sabc tv licence is still ongoing.<br> <br> It seems like it is impossible to cancel one's tv licence for whatever reason.<br> <br> <br>
