SABC license department failure to refund overpayment

When I wanted to pay my TV license in December 2021, I noticed that the amount payable on my account was R5122.90. I have had a license since 2012, which I duly paid for every year since then. On enquiry, I was advised that my husband's account was linked to mine and that he was in arrears. I contested this and a month later the amount payable was reduced to R1286.80. I tried to explain that my husband has not had a TV since 2017 and is accordingly not required to have a license. After more than two months of arguing my point, it appeared that the matter was resolved and I then paid my license fee. However, in March 2022 I found that two payments went off my account. When I wanted one of them reversed, my fight with the SABC TV license department started all over again. It seems that one of these two payments was allocated to my husband's account. I have been battling since March to get this refunded to me, despite following the process that I was telephonically advised to do. The latest request from the SABC license department that I provide them with a copy of my marriage certificate, which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they owe me a refund of the amount paid to them that I do not owe them.
