SABC is *****ing from everyone

So, on 2021/04/02 I somehow managed to make my TV License payment 3 times; Yes 3 times. R265 X 3. That was for 2021, 2022, 2023. I attempted to contact USELESS, I mean SABC but I got no joy. Decided It is fine as I have paid for the next 2 years as well. Credit R530 Invoice on 2022/02/01 - R265 - Credit R265 Invoice on 2023/02/01 - R265 - Credit R0 Please note that there is no interest on the above.

Then roll forward to 2024/02/01 - Invoice R265. Admittingly, I did not pay this on the due date, but from May 2024 I started incurring "penalties" of R26.50 per month. That is basically 10% interest per month!!!

I feel that if I needed to pay such an exorbitant amount, I should be able to claim the same amount for the time that I was in credit with the USELESS, I mean SABC.

They are not a registered Financial Services Provider, so they cannot give credit or charge interest.
