SABC DOES NOT WANT TO CANCEL TV LICENSE HI,

<p>Hi, I had a house ******* in 2014, the TV amongst other things was taken. I reported at the police station and got a case number. Since then I have never had a TV or radio again. I never had a problem cancelling my DSTV subscription, but when it comes to the SABC I gave up trying to cancel my TV licence. They are now threatning to list me. For goodness sake I don't even have a job, I gave up calling them because it seemed like no one can help, i would be on hold until I run out of airtime or they would simply drop. At some point a very rude lady responded and said I must just pay and then fax an affidavid. I told her can't pay for all these years of not having a TV (considering I don't even have a job, where should I get the money) and I don't have access to fax, asked for other means of sending it, after a long back and forth argument she said I must just just do as she says that is the only way, the debt is already there and cannot be cancelled. She told me it is my fault I did not report to SABC in time, I told I did, I have been calling the call center since the day after the break in but not getting any help, she also just told me to pay and dropped.</p> <p> </p> <p>I really need help, I don't even know what to do from here. I haven't had a TV since 2014 but I have a debt that is just going higher and SABC people who just won't help.</p> <p> </p> <p>I just feel so frustrated and helpless </p>
