SABC Bad licence tactics

I went to Makro to purchase a new Television set today and they are linked to SABC in terms of licence validation etc. I was told my licence had expired which was nonsense. The licence renewal date is 30th September 2020 and I provided proof of payment to Makro where I had already paid in 2019 SABC says that as they have already sent out statements at the beginning of August that the licence fee becomes due immediately despite my current licence being valid for another 2 months. Needless to say I was forced to pay the licence fee 2 months earlier as I needed a new TV set. SABC are little more than ************s using bad tactics to force the public to pay for their licences which is really a grudge purchase anyway. If there was a lower rating than one star this would be provided to SABC
