Penalty of R71.00 for paying 1 month later

<p>My tv licence was due end August. I made a payment of R150.00 because I had unforseen expenses in August. End September I paid R115.00 In the past I always received a letter or SMS to say thank you for your payment. I phoned today and was informed I still owe R62.00. This amount was charged because I paid my licence over two months.</p> <p>I am not going to pay this amount. It is tough times and if the SABC cannot appreciate the fact that I at least paid my account in full and they still want to charge me R71.00 for paying R115.00 late .</p> <p> </p> <p>I dont even watch one program on SABC but I am binbed by Law to pay my TV Licence. It is not my choice I am forced to pay and there is millions of people that dont pay a cent.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
