Penalties on TV Licence ***

Good day. SABC TV License has sent my account to collections. R265 is the annual TV license and I did not receive any invoice or statement as a reminder and now collections want to charge me R397.50 being penalties for late payment. As per their records, this was due in March 2017 and they send me emails and sms's on ********** 298 which I did not receive and I asked for proof that they sent to me but this they cannot provide saying that we should know to pay it. I advised that I will pay the R265 only and now I am getting sms with 24 hour notice of imposing penalties. Thanks Anne Rabichand ********** 298 **********
