paying for a tv licence that i do not have
I bought a tv set in 2007 then in 2009 that TV was no more( long story),but I was never told about when i bought the tv at the shop,they sold me a tv with out a licence,Now i'm receiving a letter and sms stating that i owe money and why must I pay for the years that i did not have a tv, can't i go to my nearest police station and obtain an affidavit that states what happened so that i an pay for the years that I had my licence?mind you I'm staying with my aunt and she pays the tv licence at home.This is not fair at all.
