Notified SABC numerous times in advance we will be out of the country for unknown period. No feedback.Two legal firms are now trying to recover license fees for the period we are out of the country

We left South Africa on the 25 January 2016 for a period of approximately 5 years and notified SABC in advance. Although we asked for confirmation, we did not get any reply or confirmation. Our License fee was fully paid until Dec 2015. On the 23 Dec 2016 we received a Legal Notice from Pritchard & Associates to collect the money for 2016. We notified the company through a Lawyer with an Affidavit that we are not in SA and that the TV is not in use. This year we received a Legal notice from another company, Kobus Best to collect the money for 2016 and 2017. We have submitted another Affidavit to the same Lawyer to communicate with Kobus Best.
