Not cancelled as at todays date

Sent them a letter dating 3 September 2015 to cancel tv licence account number *** which belongs to my son Christopher Jacobs, ID ***, as my son moved in with me (my husband passed away in 2010) and he gave his TV to me, as mine was not working. My tv licence account number is ***. We received a letter from them yesterday (1sr December) confirming that his tv licence is paid to date and the next renewal is in 2016.<br> I did contact them in September 2015, and they confirmed that they did receive the cancellation, but obviously have not cancelled. <br> I need this cancelled with immediate effect. They can contact me on *** as my son is not available today. Then I was told of a termination fee which was never explained to me at joining stage but due to the fact that I wanted to keep my name clean I paid it. I paid a total of R1233.80 which I was quoted by Sue Madonsela. I paid on the 25th of October, sent her the proof of payment and asked her to send me proof that my membership has been terminated. 7 Days later I have not received that letter or an email acknowledging my proof of payment. Instead all I am getting are sms's still from the Gym company. What does a person have to do to get some service? I am a dissatisfied customer. All I want is that letter and then I am done with them.
