No wonder the SABC's finances are in the mess they are in

our accounts departments needs a huge wake-up call. I just checked (15h00 17/02/2020) to see whether the SABC accounts department system registers my recent payment of R265 made on 29 Jan 2020 - we are now almost one month in after my payment was made and your website still shows me as owing the SABC for the year 1/03/2020 to 28/02/2021 - Acc: 209 445 741. If your accounts department cannot do the basics of keeping track of the few thousands of people in SA who do pay their TV licences then no wonder your finances are in the mess they are in!!!! my POP is attached. Shocking service fm the SABC, year in, year out. Please try and surprise us in 2021 – you are a shocking example of a national broadcaster - even if it you were representing the teeny tiny nation of Timbuktu ☹
