My horor story with sabc tv licencing department

<p>Hi there</p> <p>My name is lindiwe in 2015 i paid my tv licence via cellphone banking in may and late 2015 i started getting calls from sabc saying that i did not pay for my licence i went to the bank got proof of payment and i sent it via fax and it was quiet for some time about 2 months later i got another call from a debt collector company regarding my tv licence and i sent them the proof of payment via fax they called back to cornfirm recei<span style="font-family: 'Avenir W01';">pt and i thought all was well in february 2016 i got another call from another debt collector regarding my tv licence and this time they said it was in erreas i faxed the proof of payment again. I later on called the customer care centre to check my account status and i was told am in arreas i told them about the proof of payment and date and they said it does not appear on their system i asked the cocultant if she could help me update she said i should fa the proof of payment which i did and called again afew days later only to find it was still the same and was sent from pillar to post on the fone and no one could help. Late in apr</span><span style="font-family: 'Avenir W01';">il 2016 my old tv broke wanted to buy another went instore i couldnt because they said my licence was in erreas now i dont know what else to do because i hv been loyal paying my licence as i should but now am encountering problems, am supposed to pay this month but i dont know if i should because of these erreas i know nothing about.</span></p>
