Legal Cost on unExisting TV License

2009, my TV broke down and it was declare as unfixable which was later ****** along with other furniture during the house break. I then moved to an apartment in 1 Bicaard (South Point) Property which was fully furnished and more secure. I have declared in 2010 March to SABC that I no longer own a TV and they must STOP debiting my account each year in February. SABC then decided to take me to their collecting attorneys insisting that I am liable for the payment of a tv license while I still today do not have a TV on my name.<br> <br> Their collecting attorneys are threatening me each week with phone calls and each time I tell them that I am not paying for a licence while I do not have a tv. Now they are also accumulating legal costs which I also not paying. If they have lost an affidavit that was submitted to SABC in 2010 when someone did not do their job, I am not paying for such.<br> <br> I dont own a tv and not even planning to own one. I suggest that my name be removed from SABC records as their debtor with immediate effect. I have n numerous occasions refereed their collecting company to consult SABC and I am always thrown with the same response of: ? am only doing my job\<br> "
