Interest on account

Dear Sir/ Madam,<br> I just received a full statement of my account with the SABC TV Licence from MBD Solutions. I failed to pay my TV Licence on time at 31.03.2015 due to the fact that I went under Debt review and had no money to pay the account. I paid the account on 7th of October 2015 and amount of R275.00 <br> <br> Bear in mind the TV Licence per year is R265.00. I Paid a further R100 on 29 December after receiving numerous sms from MBD Solutions. Now looking at my statement I came to the conclusion that I was charged 10% Interest monthly irrespective of how much I owe. I was charged a further R71.00 on 31.12.2015 from 01.04.2015 until 31.03.2016 Without indicating what it is for. The description on the statement only read HUISHOUDING TV LISENSIE.<br> My new licence that is only due on 31.03.2016 Is already charged with a penalty of R26.50. According to the law this is not acceptable. Where in my contract with you does it state that there will be a penalty of 10% monthly on outstanding balance until you've settle the amount? I want an explanation on this please.<br>
