Incompetence in Merging a TV Licence

<p>At the end of 2015 I forwarded all paper work they requested in order to merge my tv licence with that of my fiancee`s. This was after a year of trying to cancel my licence for we stay together in the same house watching the same tv.</p> <p>First I was told that in order to merge the licences we have to be married or get married. I mean really!!!!</p> <p>I know about the incompatence of the SABC Licencing dept. after hearing thousands of complaints but my suspicion was confirmed after I`ve send my paper work away in 2015. I phoned them on the same day to confirm receiving my papers and it was confirmed. They how ever never did their job.</p> <p>Now at the end of 2016 I receive a lawyers letter that i must pay. I dont understand that now Imust pay for some one elses INCOMPETENCE???????</p>
