I cannot get my TV license cancelled

In March 2014, my TV stopped working and I threw it away. This was before my TV license expired (which was in June 2014, I think), so I do not owe any further license fee.<br> <br> I faxxed the duly witnessed form to the SABC (certifying that I no longer possess any equipment capable of receiving TV broadcasts) to cancel my TV license but, notwithstanding, the SABC referred my case to VVM debt collection agency. I spoke on the telephone to one of their agents who recorded my statement, which was as above.<br> <br> That agent asked me to fax the SABC cancellation form again to VVM, which I did, and I also faxxed it again to the SABC and also sent scans for the form and the fax cover sheet to Ms. Jill Swartz at [Email Removed] but VVM continues to pursue me for payment.<br> <br> The system is clearly not working at the level it is being addressed. I want someone at a higher level to look into this, to confirm that my TV license is cancelled, that I do not owe any outstanding license fee and to get VVM debt collection agency to stop harassing me.
