Harassed for 5 years for cancelled TV license
Greetings,

In 2009 I left for Germany and faxed a letter to the SABC canceling my TV license (***).

Since 2010 I have sent various emails (I have proof) singing the same song. In desperation I complained via HelloPeter in 2013. VVM attorneys responded and I thought the matter had been resolved. The harassment from SABC started again recently via sms, with new attorneys. This is unacceptable. Why do we as consumers have no power against these attorneys? The primary objective is to milk poor consumers for more money - nothing else.

Also, as can be seen from the numerous complaints on HelloPeter, the SABC TV license department requires investigation. The credit ombudsman and consumer council needs to step in and hold them to account.
