failure to cancel my tv licence

My name is Amogelang. I contacted sabc tv licence last year in june asking them to cancel my tv licence since i no longer have a tv set. I had an affidavit done at the police station and faxed ut to them. They sent me an affidavit that i needed to fill in for them to process the cancellation. I had it filled in and faxed it to them. Months past without any response from them ifound out when i called them and spoke to a lady called nonhlanhla maseko that they received the fax but because their fax machine had faults it had an error so they couldnt process it. I couldnt understand why they didnt call me and let me know of what happend and ask mevto fax again. She then gave me her email [Email Removed] said i should email it to her and she will be receiving it directly and will ensure i get the help i need and she told me i wont need to pay the required amount i should ignore the smses. Which i did email it to her. Even today i havent heard a word from them. And i am being harrassed by vvm debt collectors and the amount owing now is r424 who is going to pay for it? Had someone done their job it wouldnt have got this far.
