Ethics

I have paid my tv licence from day 1 but now i don't own any tvs and wish to have it cancelled but it seems impossible. I've been going back and forth with the call centre and on my last call with Sihle Dube she advised they cant due to different reasons that I give them, the only difference is a choice of words when I called in 1st to say my tv packed up (broken) , sihle believes I still have the tvs but packed away when I say packed up. She unprofessionally asked another collegue while I was on the line what does packed up mean and I clearly heard the guy on the phone say broken. Besides this technicality I have sent them affidavits from the police station which they requested stating I don't own anymore tvs. they can come to my house at any time to see that I don't have any tvs. I asked Sihle for a manager to call me on the 15 oct and still waiting . I don't own a tv and don't see the need to pay licence.They have requested an affidavit which I sent and they said it wasn't enough and I should send another which I did.This affidavit is a sworn oath by me at the police station. Why is this such a nightmare as ive been a loyal tv licence client and have made every payment on time
