EFT payment not acknowledged

I paid our TV license by means of EFT through Capitec bank on the 26th of December 2015.
In spite of emailing proof of payment and information as to the TV licence holder plus the account number plus address I still receive sms's threatening fines to be added to the amount of R198.00. I have phoned the consumer line and I have spoken to a gentleman called Jeremiah. This happened on the 12th Jan 2016 and again on the 18th Jan 2016.
I faxed the proof of payment yesterday in case the email was compromised some how.
This morning I get the same sms reminding me of the consequences of late payment.
Please advise on what to do next.
We are pensioners and can do without extra stress caused by this kind of treatment.
There are no walk in centres where we can physically hand in the proof of payment.
Hope this situation can be resolved soonest.
Jeremiah also told me that there is no correspondence on our account no since 2011 which cannot be true as we have paid diligently and have receipts and acknowledgement payment
