******** penalties and no statements

The penalty payment on the TV licence is ******** 10% per month is charged. That means that the penatly is MORE than the TV licence. Never mind that my email address was updated correctly and NO reminders or statements are sent to even say you need to pay it. I'm told it's my own responsibility to note when it's due and to pay it - without receiving an account. And oh so quick to hand one over to attorneys, without even letting you know you owe money. They will not remove this penalty and I can't see a statement of how the R750 I owe them is made up And even though I don't watch TV they make it impossible to cancel a TV licence too. I guess I'm just another one of the thousands of unhappy SABC TV licence customers
