Complain about Harrasment
Good day, please take note I have not been in possession of a TV since my last account payment(Due to unforeseen circumstances) but I keep receiving SMSs that I have an outstanding amount of R397.50. I did explain the matter to the agent who called me but seems she’s failing to assist with this matter. I’m planning to purchase a television soon.

Kindly ignore renewal notice if account is being paid via debit order.
RENEWAL OF YOUR DOMESTIC TV LICENCE: ***
It's time to renew your television licence.
In terms of the broadcasting legislation you must have a valid (paid-up) television licence if you use/possess a television set. This includes a TV monitor (without receiving capabilities) able to receive a broadcast signal by virtue of being connected to any television receiving equipment - digital box/decoder, DVD or PC etc.
A licence costs a mere R265.00 per annum, which amounts to approximately 73 cents a day. Concessionary licence holders only pay R74.00 per annum - people over the age of 70 and recipients of a social grant (old-age or disability) from the Department of Social Development. These are the only categories of people who may apply for a concessionary licence, pursuant to the TV Licence Regulations.
Your licensing year commences on 01/01/2022. Television licence fees are payable in advance therefore your account needs to be renewed by no later than 31/12/2021. The amount payable on or before this date is R 265.00. • The TV Licences website, www.tvlic.co.za provides the perfect means of paying online with your debit or credit card in a secure environment. • When making payment via the ATM or Internet banking please select SABC TV LICENCES as pre-defined/public beneficiary and quote your nine-digit TV licence account number *** as beneficiary reference. • Alternatively, you may pay at any of the other pay points listed on our website, follow this link www.tvlic.co.za Should you require more information or any assistance, please contact TV Licences Customer Service Centre on *** during office hours (07:00 - 16:30 on weekdays and 08:00 - 13:00 on Saturdays) or via e-mail at ***
