Cancelled TV license

Good. Morning The SABC has been harassing me about an unpaid TV license since 2020 when I cancelled it. During Covid I moved in with a family member and gave up my TV, that was old and outdated. I filled in a form for the SABC and had to submit an affidavit that the TV was no longer in use. Needless to say that I had to resubmit it twice, because they had no record of it. Since then I have received numerous SMS’s for outstanding amounts for my ‘so-called license’. I explained my innocence over and over during telephone calls from debt collectors. On 23 May 2024 I received a SMS from no. 27 *** stating: Good day! Jannie du Plessis, We are aware of the incorrect information contained in the SMS sent out to you regarding ur SABC TV Lic *** acc on the 2024-05-20. We do apologise for this error. Now 7month later they harass me again and threaten me that I have been handed over for the outstanding amount of over R500.00. Would you be able to help me to stop this continuous problem.
