Cancelled TV License 1997/1998

I got divorced and cancelled my TV license by fax, affidavid & calling them. 16/17 yrs later suddently started getting harassed by debt collectors. Tell them story, get told to fax documents, then next debt collector. Dealt with Shapiro Sheik Devries for 2.5mts then they said account closed on their side, Had to 2 go for 2 more affidavids faxed & emailed. Also emailed SABC direct and no response, and they dont close the account. Phoned SABC today again and after holding on again for clerk, got cut off after 9 minutes at 11:26.<br> <br> Bet you they will hand my case to next debt collector who will contact me again in future for same story. Worst service in SA. I will never ever pay you SABC for a account I closed 16 yrs ago. Waiting 16 yrs to to contact me . I still have the same cell no as 18 yrs ago, so no excuse.
