CANCELLATION OF TV LICENCE - NO SERVICE FOR 13 YEARS

This one is a real doozy. We have not watched TV...SABC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, eTV etc for 13 years. Kids watch series or play games on their laptops. I have written to the SABC so many times asking them to cancel my TV licence. They debit me every year for service I do not use. I do not watch the nonsense they show. Boring, repetitive, local content is even worse.

I recently sent an email, and did not even get an Automated response!!!! Isnt it a wonder that the SABC has lost so many viewers???? Does anyone even work there.

My TV is used as a Decoration in the lounge area. It does not work because my external aerial is 100 years old and falling apart, so you cannot watch anything. And I don't have the money to replace the external aerial.

How can I cancel licence as we do not use the TV or watch it. Its broken and kept there for SHOW. Do I drop it off at the SABC like how people take dead bodies to the Insurance companies just to get the Funeral cover paid out?? What do I do? I am paying for something I dont use. For service I dont get.

Please help. This is urgent, as I need to claim all the debit orders that they took from my bank account. Thats theft.
