Agony of reporting ****** TV set & cancelling bill
My TV set was ****** in 2013 and i reported it by faxing through the statement from police to SABC TV licenses. At first i was told that the copy of the police statement have no case number - when pointed that out i was told at a second occasion that the commissioner did not sign it - when i pointed out that it was signed on the 4th page i was told that if the amount outstanding gets cancelled i will never be able to apply for a new tv license let alone be allowed to buy a new set:(Does that even make sense ??When i asked to speak to a senior person to verify this statement i was told that he walked out!!!! No number could be provided. I have been trying to communicate this since 8 September 2013 - to date 12 August 2015 it is still not resolved.
