Unhappy SAU Client

I have had a worst experience with and I will never ever do business or refer anyone to them. I was with them for 4 years and they showed me flames when my vehicle was ******, adding trauma to another. The claim took more than two full months and they have a very poor communication skills. There is no transparency there and I had to ask the outcome of the claim. Didn't even know what I qualified for or what was due to the claim. And then they decided that there was dent in my car when I requested the towing assistace and they will not pay me because that dent cost R22000(I wonder how did they get to that prize without a quotation) the car value dropped drastically when my vehicle was ******... its clear the premium I paid was not for my vehicle model and they never advised on premiums to match the current value of the car. The car hire was cancelled without even a call to notification, only an email sent in the evening to says the claim is finalized and that's was after two months 8 days and I had to pay penalties at Avis because I didn't see the email on time. BSURE Insurance Agencies also tried to intervene and wrote an email of which there was no response to date. The last straw is when I proved that my car was respayed last year and had the engine done. They made me sign for R20 000 due to me and still sent R18000 to ABSA, when I told them its *****. Again because they dont get tired, I recenlty saw a document they sent to Hollard that says the vehicle value was 154K where as they said itwas 160K that I was not even happy about. The Settlement amount paid was also R4000 less. They said it was a mistake and the difference is not paid to date. What a painful experience with SAU. Use them at your own Risk
