Good Day, On 24-11-2015 I cancelled the insurance on my 2011 Ford Figo Ambiente 1.4 TDCI after they failed to give us a letter stating that the car is in fact insured to give to Absa Vehicle Finance. The insurance is in my father's name R.H.J Harmse, they confirmed it with an email. On 01-12-2015 they deducted both vehicle premiums and we phoned them again on 29-12-2015, all of a sudden they did not get the cancellation letter that Delmain Morgan rep**** to. We were promised that they will refund the money in 4 working days and they are truly sorry. On 27-11-2015 a new policy was made out to be signed and guess what the Ford Figo is still listed as an insured vehicle. I phone them today to enquire about this, apparently the Ford Figo has been taken off on the 29th of December 2015. Why more than a month later as I believe vehicle insurance runs from the 1st of the month to the last day of the month. The wrongfully deducted premium has also not been refunded yet and the cannot give an answer why. With this bad service my father is considering to move his vehicle to another insurer as well. Please investigate.
