SAU Avoiding solving problems
I honestly dont think SA Underwriters deserves even a star,I have never came across an organization that choose to run away from sorting out a simple problem,but will rather shift the blame all the time.SA underwriting Agencies (Pty) Ltd listed my name with 2 credit bureaus that I owe R 1490 ,After contacting SAU more 10 times in the past six months,I was the given a letter confirming I don t owe SAU anything and I was advised to log a dispute with the relevant bureau to update my credit profile.My simple request is for SAU to inform all the relevant bureaus that I dont owe them anything,so that the information can be updated on my credit profile.This matter has caused serious problems in my credit profile and I have lost good business opportunities due to this negative listing.

You also agreed to allow us to share certain information with insurers and bureaus.
Sharing claims and underwriting information helps the insurance industry to underwrite and assess risks fairly. This sharing helps stop ********** claims and by implication assists to keep insurance premiums affordable. If you are unable to afford the premium or are struggling to meet the premiums requirements, our team are always available to assist with premium arrangements and we invite our policyholders to chat with us or with your Broker. Short term insurance is not credit account and we confirm that you do not owe us any money. However the credit report is a record of your payment behaviour.
As a result of the above, your payment history will be published on your credit report. Apart from the pro-rata, you have not paid us a single premium towards the policy. This therefore indicates that you are unable to meet your premium requirements and this will reflect on your credit report should any other insurer need to validate your risk.
