SA underwriters reject claim
Due to this insurer's poor customer service I have lost R24 000.00 in premiums paid to them. The insurance company refuses to pay out our claim. That does not even include the medical bills as a result of the accident my parents suffered. To top it the accident was not even my parents fault.. We say poor customer service on their part. As in the sales call , we did tell them we wanted other people insured as drivers other than the primary driver. However knowing this, they did not even bother to get the details or follow up with me as their \valued"client who to furnish all the details. Two years later ...the accident and the result is : not even a single cent is to be paid back to us. All they care about is making money. They don't care about the people that they are doing business with."""
Please be advised that your claim was rejected due to the driver at the time of the accident not being nominated as a driver on a policy and please note that the policy terms and conditions must be adhered to at all times, even if the accident was not your parents fault.
You are welcome to listen to the conversation as at the inception of your policy when you will hear you intended to add other drivers to the policy however, you did not have the details of the other drivers on hand. The duty to add these drivers is and will always remain your responsibility.
