INCORRECT BILLING AND *********** AND DISHONEST

MY CAR BROKE DOWN IN LIMPOPO ON SUNDAY. SA UNDERWRITERS DID NOT ASSIST ME YET THEY SENT ME MESSAGES THAT A SERVICE PROVIDER WAS SENT TO WHERE I WAS THEN LATER ANOTHER MESSAGE THAT STATES THAT MY CAR WAS DELIVERED TO MY ADDRESS. ALL THIS WAS NOT TRUE. I WAS ASSISTED BY LUWANDA AND SHE KNEW THAT MY CAR WAS STILL IN LIMPOPO SO I DONT GET WHY SHE SENT THAT UPDATE OF MY CAR BEING DELIVERED TO MY HOME. I HAD TO SPEND THE NIGHT IN LIMPOPO IN ORDER TO GET ASSISTANCE THE NEXT DAY. THEN LATER ON MONDAY SA UNDERWRITERS BILLED ME MORE THAN THEY SHOULD HAVE. FIRST THEY GIVE ME NO SERVICE AT ALL THEN THEY OVER CHARGE ME FOR I DONT KNOW WHAT. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH THEIR SERVICE ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAVE NEVER CLAIMED ANYTHING FROM THEM EVER SINCE I JOINED THEM. I NEVER RECEIVED OTHER REFUNDS WHERE THEY OVER CHARGED ME BEFORE.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK

Hello ntombi ngubane,

When you contacted roadside assist a case was logged to have your vehicle towed to the nearest Service Provider in Mokopane, as confirmation of the call out an automated message was generated notifying you that a Service provider was dispatched. You then requested that the vehicle be towed to Diepkloof and after being informed of the cost implications you decided to cancel the tow. Upon cancellation of the call out yet another automated communique was sent to you, however with the incorrect wording. Our consultant Luwanda contacted you and advised that the tow has been cancelled however the incorrect wording was used in the communique which you received. Our sincere apologies for the incorrect wording used, this has been noted and steps have been taken to prevent future occurrences of this nature.

Furthermore we confirm that as stated in the letter sent to you on 02 February 2016, March is your policy anniversary date and due to inflation and rising repair cost in the motor industry your monthly insurance premium increased from March 2016.

We thank you for alerting us about this matter and trust that the above explanation is satisfactory.

Kind Regards
The SAU Team
