False marketing and bad service
My husband have a policy with SAU, on his contract, excess is R2500.00, He claimed for the accident occurred in February and it was approved. They advised him to go Panel Beating in Rustenburg for a quote, he did that. The insurance told him that the quote from Panel beating is R71 000.00 and he is supposed to pay excess of R14000.00 for his car to be repaired. We are shocked because that was not in their contract. Claim Number is CLM ***1

A short term insurance policy is a contract between 2 parties and is subject to specific terms and conditions. It is the Insured’s responsibility to fami****ise himself with the terms and conditions of the policy contract.
