Complaint

On Friday 25/05/2018 I received my renewed SAU car insurance schedule. Upon reviewing it I noticed that I was paying an intermediary Autosure Brokers an amount of R93.69 in commision and fees on a monthly basis. I queried this on the same day. I wanted to know who is Autosure Brokers. I also stated that I was under the impression that SAU were the underwriters and Santam were the insurers. I also stated that I feel that this is unfair as I deal with SAU when I need to claim. I also stated that I am paying this amount to someone that I have never dealt with and that someone is getting rich for doing nothing. I asked them to rectify this. I repeated this e-mail on Thursday 21/06/2018 and have received no response. It seems like nobody is willing to answer my query. It is now 2 months and I am still waiting. I am now busy with a complaint againt them with the Short Term Insurance Ombudsman. This is not about the money but the Principle involved. I will not let this issue rest.
