SA Taxi Finance are ruthless *********

Hi, I am Sabelo. Just to give you a brief background, I have previously requested settlement quotes from SA Taxi and all the quotes that I received did not stipulate the early termination fees. Although the agreement stipulates that there are interest penalties for early termination, I came to the conclusion that the early termination fees are included in the settlement quote. I have since August 2019, been raising money to settle SA Taxi account and estimated how much the settlement amount would be based on the settlement quotes that I received from SA Taxi at various dates prior to 23 September 2021. My dispute is as follows;

1. The unpaid balance as of the 23 September 2021 (settlement quote date) was R179893.04 including arrears amount of R205.44,but the settlement quote states an unpaid balance of R182342.6- that’s a difference of R2449.65.

2. I requested a settlement quotation on the 26th of January 2021 and 31 July 2019 which excluded termination fees which was now added to the settlement quote dated 23 September 2021.

3. I have been tracking my account from the beginning of the year and based my budget according to the settlement quotation dated 26 January 2021 and according to my estimate, the settlement quotation should be as follows;

Unpaid balance (R179893.04) plus interest (R1228.78) plus Cartrack(R263.76) plus insurance R3356.08 = R184741.66 deduct payment of R180156.80 = R4584.86 balance of settlement.

4. I raised my query regarding these inconsistencies on the 23rd of September 2021 and did not get a response. I was in a position to pay the balance, pending a satisfactory breakdown of the quote, and in the interim, the settlement quote expired due SA Taxi failing to justify the discrepancies. I believe that I am being **********, treated unfairly and I’m being marginalized and rejected the revised quote that Alfred sent me because it was still inconsistent with unpaid balance as per the statement attached above and way over inflated.
