MISLEADING, ********* & ******* COMPANY !!! TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!

What a dishonest, ******* company! I was made to sign a contract by S.A Taxi that clearly only serves them!

I bought a second hand taxi and I signed a contract with S.A Taxi that stated that should the taxi have a mechanical fault within 6 months of purchase, I should not worry as it has a 6 months warranty - I should just contact them and they will sort it out. My part of the contract to fulfill was to pay a R20 000 intsallment every month ( which is fine if the taxi is operating). Surely as a financial provider of taxi finance, they know how the S.A taxi industry works. You only make money if the taxi is operating (on the road). Mechanical dysfunction = not roadworthy = no work = no installment!!!!

Just merely after 3 days of taking the taxi into my possession, I started noticing mechanical issues and I notified them. The taxi couldnt operate as it was dysfunctional, and they told me to take it to VW. I took it there and I had to pay R2000.00 from my own pocket for a quote. They inspected the car and found alot of issues and quoted R62 000 .00.

S.A Taxi then started their ******* ways, saying this amount was too much and I should find a cheaper mechanic (even after paying for the quote that they did not re-imburse me for)! The cheaper mechanic I found quoted the same amount and also wanted it cash. S.A Taxi advised me that they dont have that cash and I must pay that mechanic and they would pay me back. I didnt have that kind of money in full cash , so I ended up having to fix the taxi little by little ( so that the taxi can operate because S.A taxi want their R20 000 installment every month) till a point where the taxi couldnt even move or start!

For months the taxi is parked off and not working. This ******* company started making things worse - saying I must pay the installments, even though the taxi is broken and even though they have never made any attempts of fixing the taxi (as per contarctual agreement), after numerous notifications that the taxi has many mechanical issues. Now afterwarranty period has lapsed, they are saying they are going to repossess the taxi because I'm not paying the installments, even though they breached the warranty clause of the contract and refused to fix the taxi within the warranty period (6 months). Even till this very day today, I'm being threatened by endless calls and letters that if I'm refusing to pay these installment, they are coming to repossess the car - BUT THEY ARE STILL NOT FIXING THE TAXI! This is not fair at all and I am about to take legal action over this ******* and misleading company! S.A Taxi must contact me and resolve thsi as I have had enough. As far as I am concerned, I want my full deposit of R65 000 that I paid when I purchased this s**** taxi and they can take it back! I dont want any more dealing with such a rogue nature, decietful and ******* company!!

I am highly disgusted, dissapointed & cheated!

Cell : **********

Name : Skhulu Njabulo Hadebe - Durban
