I bought a quantum on 16 july 2018 through sa taxi finance. After 2 months In September i started noticing problems with the quantum gearbox and wiring, i sent it for repair they replaced gearbox and fixed the steering. In 22 December 2018 my driver reported a problem with the gear box(gear number 5 it automatically change back to neutral). february 2019 when l came back from holidays i called them to book for another gearbox repair, unfortunately I couldn't reach the warranty department reception kept on trying to transfer without luck. In march 2019 I decided to go to their office in midrand, reception in the warranty department asked if I booked, I explained the problem with their phone system. She gave me business card and told me I have to book first. I realized the gearbox problem is becoming worse, in 06 may 2019 I went back to their office without calling or appointment, I was told the car has exceeded 60 000km it won't be covered under warranty. I asked khathu maleba if the gearbox they replaced was new or old she admitted that it old gearbox, but she insisted that I fix the car from my own pocket. take your car and pay back my deposit, I can't continue owning a hazard that nearly caused an accident because of your old gearbox changing automatically from gear 5 to neutral.
