*********** SA Taxi Insure

My taxi was involved in a minor accident on the 24 January 2017 in Vryburg, and the damage caused could be fixed in just one week as per the panelbeaters' assessment. Since then I have been sent from pillar to post by the SA Taxi Insure who seem to not know what they are doing. It took the claim more than three weeks to be finalized, approved and registered. I was told the insurer had to do qouatation for parts and order them, so when they send the vehicle to the panelbeater they send it with the required parts, something I found strange since that is supposed to be done by the panelbeaters. In one of many conversations with the panelbeaters, I was made to believe the taxi has been repaired, that the only problem was the wrong radiator which was supp**** by SA Taxi, and it was sent back and once they receive the correct one, the taxi will be realeased. But there was a suprising turn of events: After two months of waiting in frustration, the panelbeaters informed me that they have refused to do any work on the taxi because SA Taxi Insure owes them money for the other taxis they repaired before mine, and they are being refused payment, on those two taxis, and on mine. So, after two full months, it dawned on me that nothing was ever done. In the meantime, I am receiving sms's from SA Taxi, who are also financing me on the taxi, informing me that my account is arrears with more than R30 000,00! How On the 31 March I drove more than 450km from Boksburg to Vryburg in a bid to get to the bottom of this, as the insurer was putting the blame on the panelbeaters, and the panelbeaters vice versa. I arrived late and the place was close, an they are not open on Saturdays. On Monday the 3 I received a call from SA Taxi informing me the problem has been sorted out, and they still piut the blame on the pabnelbeaters saying they did not submit the paperwork on time, and that when they finally submitted, the paperwork was wrong. I phoned the panelbeaters, who also confirmed that the problem has been sorted, they are getting what is due to them, and that the taxi should be ready in the next few days, as the work has been resumed on the taxi. But now things have changed again: SA Taxi is alledgedly again still refusing to pay the panelbeaters for the work done on the other two taxis and mine, and they claim the paperwork submitted for my taxi is wrong, and work on my taxi has beeen stopped, indefinately! The owner of the panelbeaters refuses to talk to me, and says I must sort out this mess with my insurer. I am very frustrated I have lost more than R60 000 in checkings so far, and my driver has not received any wages for a long time now! I am told the assessor was there yesterday (6 April) at the panelbeaters, and according to him there is absolutely nothing wrong with the paperwork.
